Panasonic VIERA X1 Series TC-P42X1 42-Inch 720p Plasma HDTV Review
Posted by Happy on February 06th, 2010
I am very happy with this TV. I upgraded from a 1994-model 26 inch Panasonic CRT. I am very happy with Panasonic reliability over the years. 720p vs. 1080p, I researched and discovered that my cable company usually 720p feed. If it feeds something higher, this TV up-conversion to 1080i. Since the human eye can not tell the difference at 10 meters, my viewing distance normal, why pay for 1080 or LCD? I saw no blur in fast movement, as is common with LCD display. Do not throw the plasmamade a lot of heat as the old.
When I joined for the first time this TV, I tried a DVD 1980 TV series) (and was not satisfied with the quality, I thought I had made a big mistake. Then I remembered other reviews pointed out that the source of the signal. They are Best DVD and am very satisfied. Then I upgraded to HD on my cable company and WOW. They used an HDMI cable quality, and the picture is fantastic. I see above all the TV programs, DVDs and video games do not.
It 'was a perfect choiceme. I did it for five and a quarter Benfranklin to switch to a local dealer $ h_h_gr days I could not be happier and I would recommend to anyone. This is a quality TV at a price downturn.

My First Flatscreen – Panasonic TC-P42X1 – Robert A. Vandenberg – Florida
I'm not a very sensitive customer value () only for the price. The price even with shipping, easy to beat a brick and mortar store advertising of prices, the good, too. I learned this model from one of the largest consumer magazine.
Picking between LCD and plasma or between 720p and 1080p decisions were not easy. To receive a comparable cost 1080p LCD monitor with at least 120 Hz refresh rate would have almost double. The brightness of the Panasonic TC-plasma P42X1 is a good thing, even in arelatively bright room. Findings can not be more disturbing than I expected. I actually prefer the glossy screen of the rich. A plasma-benefit that I really care that you can look through the screen from virtually all angles, and it seems the same. You can not do with an LCD.
Bottom Line: I'm quite satisfied.
Great HDTV – Burt Twangcaster – KCMO
This was a month. That research by Consumer Reports and also in reviews anywhere. Not disappointed. Looks and sounds great! Plasma screen is crystal clear, even though 720p instead of 1080p. We are on a cable, antenna, about 55 miles from downtown KC. Great picture. The prices seem to continue to decline. We paid $ 668, including shipping and tax) (out of state suppliers. Keep it at $ 599 recently in the area cheap, but they add taxes and shipping costs, and we are still faradvance. In order to purchase a home theater audio system to deal with this and the Blu-ray going straight.
Highly recomend this product! – Paleogirl – Tennessee
Panasonic Viera TC-X1-Series P42X1 42-inch Plasma HDTV 720p
Read all the reports fine on this TV and was about the provision, on-line concern. Things went well. E 'arrived on time. And it was very easy to set up satilite with my system. The picture is wonderful. Reflections on how the 50 "or 42" in 1080i, but with the price of this was too good to slip. I am very happy with this plasma and would very highly recommend it!
Bailey – Mark Bailey – Minnesota
The HD Panasonic 46 "is an ideal size. The picture quality is excellent. Plasma is great, I know there are some concerns about the display in the dark, but as long as possible to keep any reflection on the screen, is not problem . All TV will be disturbed by a reflection on the screen. You only need the position away from the window, for example. I love television, no problem with it. I was more into the arrangement concerns over the net. It 'was expressed by local delivery systemCompany, have pulled out of the box for me to make sure nothing was damaged and asked me to wait 2 or 3 hours, this would allow the TV warm up (weather was below zero here) and it was easy to set . I had to get a court HD, however, before.
